Hi, my name is Dr. Jon Finn (Tougher Minds and Me Power Academy Founder). High levels of stress are increasingly becoming problematic for many children and teenagers, damaging both their short and long-term health and success. Stress is a habit, so the more time young people spend being stressed the more damaging the consequences.

But anyone can learn how to get better at dealing with stress by building simple and practical stress management habits.

Building on the previous levels Level 5 makes it easy for parents to teach their children why they get stressed, how to counter the stress response and how to begin building confidence. It empowers young people to take control of their own stress levels and begin building their confidence so they can fulfil their potential.  

Who is it for?

- Parents who want to help their child to fulfil their potential, but fear high stress and fragile confidence might prevent that.
- Children and young people who want to be their best, but sometimes find themselves feeling overwhelmed and lacking self-belief.

Parents can work through Level 5 with their child, OR children and teenagers can work through independently. 

What will you learn and how long will it take?

Level 5 content:
- Animation - Learn about the different components of your confidence

You will learn:
- About the House of Confidence®. 
- Why we need three positives for every negative.  
- How belief and evidence combine to produce robust confidence.

- Interactive Lesson 1 - Learn why life can be stressful

You will learn:
- How the A.P.E. Brain® can make us doubt ourselves. 
- What happens in your brain and body during a stress response.
- How to begin building better stress management habits.

- Interactive Lesson 2 - Learn how to begin improving your confidence by using the Confidence Profile

You will learn:
- How to put perspective on unhelpful thoughts. 
- About the power of writing to re-focus your thoughts.
- How to use the Confidence Profile to reduce stress and build confidence. 

- Audio Guide - Secure and enhance your understanding of the main ideas covered in Level 5

- Planning Tool - The Confidence Profile makes it easier to begin improving confidence in different areas of life one small step at a time

- Highly engaging content with easy-to-understand narration

Time commitment:
You can work through the content in approximately one to two hours, and you will learn simple stress manage and confidence building techniques to use in any area of life
