Hi, my name is Dr. Jon Finn (Tougher Minds and Me Power Academy Founder). The most important thing I have learned about helping people to be healthier, happier and perform to their potential is that least 98% of everything we do is unconscious mindless habits. This means for every fifty things our brain is doing, we are only aware of one. This makes unhelpful habits the root cause of all challenges, at school, work and in our wider lives.
This is why you can tell your child to change their behaviour until you are blue in the face and it often will not have the desired effect. Most of what they do is a habit. This means that unhelpful thoughts and actions such as:
- low confidence
- becoming distracted worrying
- giving up easily
...can be hard to change.
As we discovered in Level 1, knowing what they need to do is not enough, you have to help them to build new habits .
This good news that my colleagues and I have helped parents help their children to successfully build new helpful habits with our proven methods time and again.
Level 2 we will show you how to help your child to make sustainable positive changes. It gives young people the knowledge and skills to independently build new habits.
Who is it for?
- Parents who want to help their child to fulfil their potential but feel like they are having the same battles over and over again.
- Children and young people who want to be their best, but find it hard to make lasting positive changes.
Parents can work through Level 2 with their child, OR children and teenagers can work through independently.
